So today I had to drop my car off and had some time to waste. On the way home from the dealership I stopped at Safeway & Walgreens to pick up some things for my mom and family. I have a spreadsheet where I track my spending so here is the damage from today's trip.
COST - $29.90 minus the $13 Register Rewards so it's $16.90! Under the "Cost" column you'll see -(minus) this means I made a profit after register rewards. The only bad I don't like is doing multiple transactions. I went during at a some what busy time so got a few dirty looks from customers, lol. I normally go during an off time so it's not that busy, but didn't have a choice today. I have to say the cashier was super nice and VERY easy going so yea WALGREENS!
One tip on stocking up - LOOK for expiration dates and make sure you will be able to finish them by or before that time. Don't get it bc it's cheap or have a coupon then again if it's free you can always donate to the shelter.
Daughter goes through the Nature Valley like water and son loves the fruit snacks. My mom will be good on Omega vitamins for a LONG time. And if you are asking why would you get breath right? Well Walgreens' cat (machine next to the register that prints out rewards and coupons) printed a coupon so I figure I better get it now bc I don't know when I will be back there (plus it was free).
