What are some thing you look for when you're searching recipes? For me - can I pronounce all the ingredients listed, if I can't pronounce it - Have I seen them at stores? How long will it take me? I don't like to be in the kitchen all day making ONE dish. I don't mind being in the kitchen making different dishes, but one...ugh too much work. I'm not much of a cook or a baker, but CAN follow a recipe! When I say I'm not much of a cook or baker meaning I don't have my own recipes, but I can do a fine job with guidance. Anyway, if you don't like to spend a lot of time on one dish, but still want to serve your family some delicious meals then check out these food bloggers I use ALL THE TIME (ummm...more like EVERY night!):

Fiesta Chicken |
Today I made this really easy dish, I mean it cannot get any easier than this...this is going K-style! I used a recipe from The Girl Who Ate Everything - Crockpot Fiesta Chicken. Crockpot (girl who's not a cook's bff), put the chicken in with a jar of salsa, black beans, and corn. Let it do its thing for 4 hours on low, take the chicken out and shred it. Then it goes back in with 8 oz of cream cheese (dump the whole thing in), and let it sit for another 30 minutes. Stir and serve with rice or tortillas! This meal cost me $4.60 to make.
Chicken breasts $2.63 (at commissary)
Blackbeans $0.63 - Price cut at Target
Corn $0.25 - Stock pile
Salsa $0.50 - Stock pile
Cream Cheese $.59 - After sale and coupon
What are your favorite recipes? Or do you have a favorite food blogger you follow? Btw - you should check out their pictures, I feel like my pictures do no justice to their recipes, lol.
